Did you know that…

As an analyst you will be working closely together with our in-house consultants to steer the business growth of Picnic in this crucial expansion phase by expanding our business in the new regions. You’ll be working on for instance optimization of marketing campaigns, increasing efficiency in our fulfilment centers, pricing models or scheduling and planning. Next to this you will be also working closely with your colleagues in our Amsterdam and Paris offices to streamline our processes across all regions.


About you

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Robotics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Physics, Operational Research, Logistics & Supply Chain, or Business Engineering
  • 0-2 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment or experience with projects involving data analytics, statistical modelling, machine learning, mathematical optimization or process simulation
  • Ability to explain complex analytical concepts in a comprehensible manner to various stakeholders from different fields
  • Your communication skills allow you to convert abstract plans into digestible information for your team
  • You have worked with SQL and Python or are excited to learn
  • Your sharp business sense and conceptual thinking abilities mean you can look beyond the obvious to come up with fresh and innovative ideas

 

In-House Analyst Consultant – Junior

You’ll work on a wide range of exciting projects, which, depending on your team, can include: 

  • Perform analyses on topics like: our store assortment and products ranking, fleet analytics and capacity modeling, mathematical optimization around our warehouse operations etc. 
  • Develop algorithms and operating procedures to spot damaged products before they leave the warehouse
  • Demand forecasting: Develop forecasting models to predict future customer demand
  • Develop cost-benefit analyses to design a scalable cloud infrastructure that fits our automation projects
  • Onboarding program: Develop gifting and communication strategies to maximize engagement and retention of new customers
  • Determine the impact of improving our planning and routing algorithms in our supply-chain systems

Analyst

  • build and maintain data pipelines to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our data
  • deep dive into data, identify trends and gather insights 
  • define, sharpen, and implement improvements alongside stakeholders
  • create reports and dashboards to track progress and performance

Pricing & Promotions – Data Analyst

As a Pricing & Promotions – Data Analyst, you’ll work on a wide range of exciting projects, among which: 

  • you’ll analyze, withdraw insights and optimize our online store assortment and decide on best pricing strategies 
  • you’ll determine concrete action points from the data and act upon them by real-life implementation 
  • you’ll work with various databases, A/B testing, reporting & visualization to get your stakeholders on board 
  • you’ll join learning and development opportunities and work with colleagues across countries to build the best commercial strategies
