October Open Calls

Knowledge Facilitation Committee

Knowledge Facilitation Committee aims to curate the knowledge and ensure it’s usage by facilitating knowledge sharing in ESTIEM.

As the Accounts Responsible you will work as one of the administrators of Elium, the digital headquarters of ESTIEM. There are going to be regular task  but most of the tasks in KFC are distributed among the team members in our weekly chats. 

 

Tasks of the Accounts Responsible will include the following:

  • Add new people to Elium (once per week)
    • Check who requested an account and create the account, this takes less than a minute but it needs to be done regularly
  • Disable unused Elium accounts (once per month)
    • We try to limit the number of Elium accounts that ESTIEM uses, therefore it is necessary to check who is not using Elium and to disable those accounts
  • Attend the weekly teamchats (once per week)
    • The teamchats serve for different things things. We are discussing current topics, updating others and distributing task. The chat doesn’t take longer than one hour.

Knowledge Facilitation Committee aims to curate the knowledge and ensure it’s usage by facilitating knowledge sharing in ESTIEM.

ESTIEM is going to work with three different platforms in the future. (1) The portal will be used for all activities that are connected with events (application etc.). (2) Elium will be used as a knowledge sharing platform for centrally active ESTIEMers. (3) A WordPress website will be used for general information about ESTIEM and knowledge that can be used by LGs.

 

Tasks of this Website Responsible will include the following:

  • Help with the creation of the new WordPress website for ESTIEM
    • Identify knowledge that needs to be available for LGs and ESTIEMers that are not active on the Central Level
    • Develop a structure for this knowledge
    • Build the new website
  • Attend the weekly teamchats (once per week)
    • The teamchats serve for different things things. We are discussing current topics, updating others and distributing task. The chat doesn’t take longer than one hour.

Analysis Committee

Our mission is to support ESTIEM to make the decision-making more fact-based in order to help the organisation move forward while supporting ESTIEMers in their professional development.

We are looking for team members that are willing to learn about Data Analysis and to implement the gained skills in ESTIEM. You will be supported by a group of dedicated Alumni who will guide you through your learning process. 

 

As a member of the Analysis committee, you will:

  • Learn how to work with data visualization software Tableau
  • Create, collect and clean data from various ESTIEM data sources
  • Develop dashboards that will be used by members of Central ESTIEM
  • Work on the project iteratively using the SCRUM methodology which is often used in IT management
  • Learn analytical and project management skills that will be incredibly useful in academic and professional life

Public Relations Committee

The mission of PRC is to ensure visibility to ESTIEM, by communicating the brand and identity of the network through the use of its communication channels.

PR Materials Responsibles came with the necessity of the focus of innovation and flexibility in ESTIEM PR Materials (non-online materials).

PR Materials Responsible  is responsible for:

  • Creating External Promotional Materials (CRC Brochures, templates for roll ups, business cards, letters, new ESTIEM presentations and all the content related to the external connections);
  • Assuring that companies with whom we establish connections know where we stand (send an email on holidays and after CMs), by working closely with CRC and fulfill their needs.
  • Implementing the Brand of ESTIEM in every material and form of communication;
  • Creation of easy-to-read branding guidebook;
  • Update old materials with the new Corporate Image Guidelines;
  • Keeping up to date Corporate Image Guidelines and creating of the ESTIEM Branding Package (including branding guidebooks, fonts, colors, ESTIEM Bank of Photos, Videos, Dotted Map and editable files with past designs).

Inchainge

Inchainge is a new entity in ESTIEM, it aims to provide an online tournament whose topic is Supply chain and Management. It will enable ESTIEMers to get deep knowledge in this field and will match them with career opportunities.

Inchainge communication Responsible works to promote this new event to ESTIEMers. This position
doesn’t require specific skills, but if you are a creative person, who is not afraid of new things and who
wants to achieve new things in ESTIEM, thus this position is for you!!!

Tasks of the Inchainge communication responsible:

  • Create materials to promote this event
  • Send emails to LR’s
  • Keep track of the people registration during the event to target the communication
  • Prepare a standardize chat in order to explain precisely this new event to LR’s and duplicate
    this
  • Be an active person during chats, who expose its ideas
  • Announce the winners after each phase
  • Someone who is ready to help its team partners if they need ideas/help

IEM Development

ESTIEM is going through a phase where it wants more complementary education offered from students to students. Moreover, ESTIEM wants it through a sustainable and dynamic way, not going through the conventional events, but more into the direction of courses, to foster our great spot in the non-formal educational world. If you are interested in creating new courses in ESTIEM like LSS with the help of Alumni, companies and other teams in ESTIEM, this is the place for you. Come and join the education revolution in ESTIEM!

 

Tasks of the IEM Courses Responsible:

  • Definition of the necessary courses to create in ESTIEM:
    • Evaluation of the techniques and topics students from Europe want to learn new,
      either through the review of the IEM Survey or through the creation of new
      forms;
    • Evaluation with the Alumni Network of ESTIEM the European Trends for the
      delivery of a new IEM Course and evaluate with them the correct trend to teach;
  • Creation of the team for the course:
    • Find an Alumni/Professional that would actively deliver input to the content of the course and define the necessary modules to teach;
    •  Recruit a Local Team in a Local Group that would be willing to dedicate effort in building up the course;
  • Creation of the course materials:
    • Benchmark with other teams in ESTIEM the correct process of building up the course materials;
    • Alongside the team recruited and the guidance from the professional associated to the course, develop the physical/digital materials for the course;

IEM Summit Responsible is the one that explores the concepts for the event and coordinates it both on a strategic and operational level.

Tasks of the IEM Summit Responsible will include the following:

  • Responsible for the organization and coordination of IEM Summit event.
    • Assign tasks to the team, including contact with organizations, professionals and so on, as well as the content of the event
    • Be in close contact with the hosting LG, coordinate the local-central communications and actively lead in the decision
    • Lead the strategic, operational and all other aspects of the event

Curricula Database Responsible is the one that rides all operation and the strategic part of the database, with the collaboration of professors and universities, in order to make this database the more functionable database as possible.

Tasks of the Curricula Database Responsible will include the following:

  • Responsible for the organization and coordination of Curricula Database.
    • Coordinate and assign tasks to maintain the life of the database and up to date
    • Work closely with the Externals responsible keeping the contact with EPIEM and other professors involved
    • Define with the professors the functionalities and what information to extract from the database
    • Make sure the end-goals of the stakeholders are guaranteed
